The Sicilia Bakery Chicago is a family owned & operated Italian pastry kitchen that was included on the hit show, Chicago’s Best. The Sicilia Bakery, opened by Joe & Roselia Pecoraro in 1968, is still at the same location where we are today. Joe’s enthusiasm begun at the youthful age of 10 in Bagheria, Sicily, working next to two of the best bakers in Sicily, Michele Di Paolo and Toto Fucarino at Pasticceria La Favorita bakery.
Moving to the United States in the mid 60’s, Joe & Roselia built up the Sicilia Bakery in Jefferson Park, Chicago and has been preparing delightful, conventional Italian treats and dishes for the Jefferson Park area and throughout Chicago, IL for over 40 years.
